The one in which our heroine remembers that she forgot.
I’m up again at 6 a.m. so I can write a few words with both hands. Usually, when I get on the computer, Kelsey wants to sit on my lap and bang away on the keyboard. Just like her father. Well, not that HE sits on my lap when he bangs on the computer…. Eh, you konw what I mean.
Anyway, Kelsey keeps turning on this computer narrator that I didn’t even know EXISTED. It’ll come on and tell me which keys are being pushed. I can’t turn it off without rebooting the computer! She’s still in slumberland, sleeping deeply. She barely moves when she sleeps. I actually have to put my hand in front of her nose to make sure she’s breathing. Yes, I actually do this. Sad, huh?
Anyway, Kelsey is now tipping the scales (literally!) at 20 lbs. So she’s like quadrupled her birth weight in five months. Wow. She’s got lots of baby chub. As a matter of fact, my daughter’s got more rolls than a Southern steak house. She’s rolling over, although she still hates being on her stomach. She’s got her balance and sits up like a pro. She says “mama” now, too. I don’t know WHERE she got the inspiration to say that…. *wink*
Solids are going well, although I think it may have been a mistake to introduce her to bananas. Now, all she wants is bananas!
The grandparents are visiting this month, so it should be a fun-packed couple of weekends!
I think I’m missing someone’s birthday, but I don’t remember. When does my brain return to normal? Well, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, you there, you beloved person who is very important to me! *charming smile*
