She trades photography for sushi!

First, let me say that I LOVE sushi. Part of the reason is that I love the way my body feels when I eat sushi. I feel less weighed down than when I eat most western-type cuisine. If I could eat sushi daily, I would. If I had to choose between a sushi dinner of my choice or the most lusciously marbled, perfectly seasoned and grilled steak with all the fixings, I would choose the sushi.

So, I love sushi, but I have a McDonald’s budget. No, wait. That’s not exactly right. I want sushi, but I have a casserole budget. Regardless, I can’t afford to eat sushi often.

When my housemate, Jeff , decided to make sushi for dinner although he had never even attempted such an undertaking, I was more than supportive. I promised to take photos of his work. I praised him. I basically kissed his ass, hoping he’d do this again. He did. I’m really good at the flattery! I can be quite the suck up when need be. But, regardless of my foibles, I’ve had homemade sushi twice in ONE WEEK in exchange for doing what I love to do anyway: take photos.

So here, to appease Jeff and let him know he’s appreciated and a master and all that, are photos of his most awesome sushi meals.

By the way, he’s single and a wonderful chef, and he cleans the kitchen when he’s done and even puts the toilet seat down. Get yours today! :) Email me if you want to meet this awesome guy (30-something, tall, nice, super intelligent, very employable, wonderful cook, loves children, makes homemade sushi….
