Puddle Splashing Month!

We have survived the brutal Boston winter! Allen is counting the buds on trees, and Kelsey is remarking on all the birds flying around the trees in our backyard. I’m noting with amusement the busy little squirrel who keeps sneaking up into the rafters of our rental house. I’m imagining the little nest of fuzzy squirrel babies probably tucked warmly inside. I hope my landlady doesn’t notice!

And it’s April, so therefore it is now officially puddle splashing time! Time for rain boots and mud! And, afterwards, COLD underpants, followed by warm soapy baths.

Just for you, here are photos of Laurel doing her thing:

Jumping in puddles!

Jumping in puddles!

And then splashing and soaking pants!

And then splashing and soaking pants!

great photos, both the water frozen in mid-air and the expressions.

Your landlady probably won’t notice the squirrel family project unless the nest is over her bedroom ceiling. If it’s over yours, remember to enjoy their little squeals at dawn every morning for a while (voice of experience).

Great photos! The boots are really irrelevent at that age aren’t they? I took Parker’s rain boots off him the other day and had to pour the water out of them…

Damn, she’s cute. And those are most excellent shots. Great catch.

Hugs all around from me, please.

The kid is pretty great too 😉
