Yesterday was horrible. I awoke feeling sick, and it only got worse. Our friend, Jeff, had stayed the night, having imbibed a bit too much the night previous. He stuck around for most of the day and helped me with the girls. I am so grateful. Thanks, Jeff. You rescued us again!

I asked Allen to google the words “severe stomach pain, diahrrea, nausea” and one of the first things to come up was “Nexium.” I’ve been on Nexium since my nurse practitioner gave me some samples almost two weeks ago. She didn’t tell me the side effects could be worse than the condition I was taking them for. I’m waiting to get through to the doctor’s office to find out what to do next, but the phone is busy. They probably get inundated following three-day weekends.

Allen came home early and took over captaining the ship for the rest of the evening. I was escorted to bed, where I stayed the entire night. Thanks, baby!
