We uncorked this tasty zin blend an hour ago to celebrate putting the kids to bed early! Four Vines Zin is a 80% Zin/20% syrah from California. Fruity with hints of spice up front, finishing in a nice oaky taste. Smooth, silky, and spicey. I paid $9.99, and I’m thinking of going back to buy a couple more bottles for future enjoyment.

I’m a fool for Zinfandel. Of course, these days I have 1/2 glass of wine and I’m a fool regardless. The movie Sideways–I hate to admit–has made me Merlot-shy, but I’ll still partake of a bottle now and again; but I expect to mostly enjoy zins, some pinots, syrahs, and cabs. This zin is tasty! On my uneducated, unrefined scale of 1 to 5, 5 being highest, I give this bottle a 4.
